Simon Says Newsletter and 4 Golden Rules

Over 25 years Simon has witnessed the activities of literally hundreds of different traders and investors.  Some of these, the minority, were successful and sadly the majority were pretty consistent losers.  Over time he spotted patterns of behaviour within the profitable group and virtually the opposite behaviour within the losing group.  Such observations helped him to establish a few basic principles upon which all of his work today is based.

Simon has distilled these basic principles down to four critical themes, his Golden Rules, all of which are followed by every one of the successful traders.  The losers on the other hand have one or more (often all) of these rules missing from their activities.

Such insights are of tremendous value and could save you a fortune if you were to apply them to your own investment and trading activities.  The good news is that for a limited time Simon has agreed to make his Golden Rules available, free of charge, to those who subscribe to his “Simon Says” newsletter.  Better still Simon Says is also being made available absolutely free to early subscribers.  This is limited to the first 1000 subscribers, so if you would like to receive this priceless information with Simon’s compliments please sign up using the form in the “Free Newsletter” window.

Simon Says

This is not a regular newsletter, in more than one sense.  Firstly Simon does not write articles in the same vein that most newsletter writers do.  Unlike most others, Simon is not an author.  He trades for his living and that’s it.  Regular newsletter publishers earn their money from selling newsletters.  So ask yourself this question.

Where do you think you will get the most powerful information and the greatest learning experience:

  • From costly newsletters written by professional newsletter writers, or
  • From free newsletters written by an experienced trader, who trades for his living?

Simon’s articles may not be as glossy or perfectly written as newsletters by professional writers, but nor are they meant to be.  The content is the ONLY thing of value to Simon and it should be to you too!

Simon Says does not get published regularly either.  Why?  Well its simple really, the markets don’t deliver newsworthy events or perfect trade examples to a schedule!  So again would you prefer a regular monthly newsletter of mediocre content or irregular hard hitting information that can really help you in your own quest to develop and improve your performance in the markets?

Simon Says is produced only when there is something worth discussing.  Simon does not have time to write articles for the sake of writing articles and as he provides them free, why on earth would he seek to waste his time and yours by creating “padding”?

In addition by using email as the delivery medium Simon can issue individual articles rather than having to collect a number of them together to make up a printed newsletter.  So Simon Says is produced one article at a time making it short, timely and focussed on a single subject.  Everyone seems to agree that this is a better way to read and learn than having half an encyclopaedia arrive each month, each quarter or whatever.

The sort of articles you can expect to read provide insight into many areas of trading and the markets, for example:

  • Trading techniques, tactics and examples
  • Research and statistics on a variety of markets
  • Specific opportunities as they set up
  • Debunking myths and even outright lies about the markets
  • Interviews with or articles from other World leading traders
  • Priority access to training events and products
  • Short video and audio clips of interviews and presentations by Simon and his colleagues

Privacy Policy and Spam

We are all plagued these days by a whole sea of rubbish and unwanted material.  Simon is as scathing as anyone could be about this modern scourge on our Inboxes.  For this reason he adopts a simple privacy policy:

Simon will never sell, rent, lend or give your email address to anyone else.  Period!

One of the consequences of this modern plague is that spam filters increasingly make it difficult for legitimate communications to be delivered.  For this reason Simon Says is delivered using iContact, a premier email delivery service that is white listed by many major service providers.  However even iContact are unable to achieve 100% deliverability and they recommend adding Simon-Townshend.com to your safe senders list in order to ensure you receive Simon Says:

Every email and newsletter delivered by iContact contains a link to modify your contact details or to be automatically removed from the circulation list.  So if at any time you no longer wish to read Simon’s valuable insights, you are in full control.
